CAN'T LOG BACK ON TO XBOX VIA EMAIL

Ok so my son somehow reset his xbox. He said something popped up mid game and as they do just pressed something to get rid of it and it hs reset the whole thing. We have tried to get the email sorted and the password we thought and been trhough all online
security via Microsoft but said that not enough answers matched the details they have online. We are now locked out of said account and online chat I have been waiting on for 2 hrs now and not connecting. I think the only way I can get around it now is by
setting up a new account and cancelling my bank card so no more subscriptions can come out on that account. I have his gamertag and password for Xbox live. Can anyone help ?

You need to speak to an agent of xbox support. You can request a call back or speak to a live agent via chat. Hopefully they would be able to assist you. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us#2.

Hi ya its xbox one s no parent account unfortunately and done the recovery steps but not enough info matched therefore locking me out completely

Thanks for coming to the forums. If you know the gamer tag on the account, you can request a call from support. If they can verify the account, they can help you with your information. It could be wrong email. When filling out the account recovery form,
it is important for the name and birthdate to be correct. Also it is important if you purchased things even Xbox live gold to say you made purchase. Then choose Xbox, reason for this is it will ask for the gamer tag and device ID. This helps in determining
passing the form. The device ID can be found under settings>system>console info>Xbox live device ID. This usually starts with FD.

When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:

Step 1 ----select Xbox One
Step 2 ----select see other options then subscription changes
Step 3-----select show contact options

Step 4 ----select request call from support

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.
