Can’t load Fortnite

Hello, my son has been experiencing problems when trying to load the game. When he clicks on fortnite it goes to the main screen then turns white and goes back to the app screen. This seems to be the only game he is experiencing this with. We have tried
uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times and it has not worked. He has plenty of space available and from what I understand he has not been blocked or banned from the game. How can we fix this issue? I also tried checking for a corrupt save file and we
did not locate one. Please help.

Hello, xbox live are having some issues right now with purchase and content using and that's possibly the cause of your issue.

You can check out xbox live status here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status

You can also click on the 'Notify me' button on the link above and Microsoft will let you know when the service get back up online.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums today. I'm sorry to hear about the current issue loading up Fortnite. Since you've already tried uninstalling and re-installing the game the next step I would suggest for you to try would be a

Soft Factory Reset(while keeping games and apps)
Before resetting your console make sure of the following:

There is a stable network connection.
The information for all profiles is known (email and passwords)

Once the setup is complete it will ask if we want to keep settings or manual setup let's do
manual setup.

Give it a shot and let us know of any changes!

Hello I tried this and it still isn’t working, I can’t load fortnite either I get the error code 0x87e10bef.

I am having the same issues on cross platform gaming on fortnite, mlb 22, and Apex Legends. I have set my settings to allow for everything I can, yet when I load up the games I can’t play online
