can't link my xbox live subscription to my new xbox one

I have just linked a new payment method to my sons Xbox live account for a 12 month subscription but he can't go on creative, which he could with the previous account, any suggestions?

Hi you can't share the subscription and games simultaneously on both Xbox's. Making the new one your home Xbox just makes the new one your new home xbox. Which removes you from the other one. One of you will have to buy a separate subscription and possibly
the game too if you plan on playing together.

Yes you can, you can hold the account of your mother on yout xbox and create a newone and in this way u can share all your games and subscriptions on your new profile or if u have 2 different xbox u can do the xbox home process

I have a similar issue on XBOX One. I purchased an XBOX Live Gold Membership, but on my XBOX One Dashboard, I can't access any Gold features, including free games. I just keeps asking me to "Join Gold". I checked my subscriptions on the XBOX One and online
under my Microsoft account, and it shows my active XBOX Live Gold subscription. How can I make my XBOX One recognize I have Gold????
