    Can't link card to xbox account?


    This problem started a bit ago right after I purchased some dlc. My card works fine, but for some reason I can't link it to my account to buy dlc. I am getting the error code;

    Does anyone know what this is or how to fix it? Do I need to call my bank and ask them what's up, or is it internal?

    they can't be used to buy xbox live gold memberships as a payment option.

    See the text at solution 6 at this link:

    It states that debit cards can't be used at this moment.

    I suggest using the debit card to buy a xbox live gold subscription prepaid card at a local store

    Do a search for cdkeys, they have xbox points card cheaper then face value so you can get £50 for £43ish.

    I got the same problem here with the same code i have call xbox and they sayed is locked have tried diferent cards and no i got the same issue..

    You can't.

    You need a valid payment option like a credit/debit card or paypal linked to your account or you need a xbox live gold subscription card.

    Do you have a credit/debit card linked to your account?

    If not then that's usually the main reason people can't download 360 games from their xbox one.

    And I should add he has his own credit card linked to the account, you can't be a "kid" and have a credit card so it's not that either.

    To use that offer you need valid method of payment linked to your account (like credit card or pay pal). You can't use your account's credit to purchase xbox live membership through the xbox online store.
