    Can't level up in BO2


    I have been playing call of duty black ops 2 and last week i was at level 36 when i turned it off for the night then turned it on the next day and leveled up to level 38 and turned it off for the night again then i turned it back on and was booted back to
    a level 36 for some reason it let me level up to a level 40 and has only been booting me back to a level 37 can anyone help with my issue

    Hey there Gregory!

    Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to level up in Black Ops 2.

    I split your post from it's original thread so that we could make sure to give this issue it's appropriate attention.

    Now, seeing as this game is backwards compatible, can you tell me whether you're playing it on a 360 or a One?

    Also, can you outline any troubleshooting steps you have already taken to try and resolving this issue on your side?

    I am confident we can get to the bottom of this provided a little more information on the situation.

    Can't level up in BO2

    Seems like an in-game related issue. I suggest you to contact the game developer through their support forums to report this issue.

    Your elite clan is level 1. The bo2 level is different than mw3 level, they aren't starting bo2 clan ops until December or January.

    ^ Maybe. This game is having all sorts of stat/rank problems popping up (just go look at the official BO2 forum). I would not be surprised to find that some people are legitimately seeing/gaining 12th prestige levels because this game is %$#*@(%! broke.
