Can't leave the preview program.

A friend of mine added me to the preview program and I didn't want it. I don't wish to receive the constant updates so I tried to leave. However, when I click on the Preview app on the dashboard I am given zero options. It's been like this for weeks now
and my hard drive is filling up. Thanks in advance.

I have had trouble with the preview program this past week.I can't play my digital games on my other account.I want to leave how do I leave.

how can I leave the xbox one preview program, if have the preview dashboard app deinstalled in the past? I can't install it, because I didn't find it.

The updates only apply to dashboard updates not game updates. Also updates don't really fill up your harddrive that much since they overwrite the previous one. When content gets added that's a different case of course.

You should be able to leave the preview program through the dashboard app, when you've opened it go to:

• Registration
• Change
• Remove

That link doesn't work for some reason. The only option on the app is a 'Join' option. But I've been getting updates for a few months now so its as if the app has forgotten the console is signed to the program.

 

Sorry to hear you want to leave and cannot access the forums. I have sent a pm off to UrbanizedTree on your behalf and he should be in touch with you in the next couple of days.

I also wanted to let you be aware that even though you can be removed from the program you will still continue to receive updates for the preview until the current dashboard preview is released. This will be in July.

 

If you get an option to "join" you should not be in the program. If it says status pending or enrolled then you are in.

Just to be sure, can you go to

• Home
• Settings
• Console Info

And tell me your OS version

 

Yeah you will have constant updates no matter what thats normal for a console and you always nedd the game updates

Xbox only does one major update per yearbut there are mini updates between

For network and security updates

 

Ps3 does weekly updates and take down their network at least once a week

So an update every month i wouldnt really complain baout gbst
