    Cant launch the newest Minecraft version release, but can run prior versions fine.


    When I click play with latest release selected, it gives me this error:

    Internal error.

    Name: INVALID_CONFIG

    Error details: Unable to build instance from launch config.

    But I am able to launch 1.8.9 perfectly fine, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Java Oracle but nothing works. Currently I have to use Forge to load the most recent release

    Minecraft Windows 10 Edition is not updating to new versions on my PC.

    Minecraft Launcher has released but anyway it's downloading 1.17.10 version (even through Minecraft Launcher). Of course i can download the newest version of Minecraft Windows 10 Edtion through unofficial launcher but it's a little unpleasant when the newest version isn't downloading from official source :(

    I was on with Microsoft Support, and they recommended reinstalls for Windows to the newest version, and everything is running fine now. Allow an hour to ninety minutes for the updates to process. They were helpful.
