    Can't launch or install any new games or apps.


    I discovered an issue I've never had before with my xbox last night and it's officially driving me crazy now.

    The short version is I can't install anything new and have it work. Sometimes I just get an "installation stopped" message and sometimes the installation works but when I try to launch the game or app I either get a message that says "apologies our service
    isn't working properly at the moment" if the game is a digital copy or if it's a disc copy i get a message saying the game file is corrupt and to try uninstalling and reinstalling.

    I can't find anyone else having this issue and I've tried every suggested action I could find but nothing is working.

    Anyone able to help a brother out?

    Sorry to hear about your issue. I've attached a link with instructions on how to do a factory reset:

    I would also recommend unplugging/resetting your router at the same time you shut down the Xbox during the factory reset. You will need your account/password information to sign back into your Xbox after the factory reset. Let us know if this works!

    I'd suggest you Power Cycle your console. If it persists, you'd probably want to Reset your Xbox to Factory Default.

    Hi there

    it sounds like you probably will have to factory reset the console to fix the issue.

    If you do that remember to click the option to keep games and apps or every game and app you have installed will be deleted.
