Can't launch No Man's Sky on PC

    Can't launch No Man's Sky on PC


    I have the xbox game pass ultimate on PC, and whenever i try opening no man's sky , nothing will happen and if something did happen it is an error that reads "error 12002". I've checked my drivers and everything else and they all seem to be fine.

    Also all other games seem to run completely fine and they are on the same disk as No Man's Sky, last thing i checked is if my pass has ended but it is still available until the 14th of next month.

    Unfortunately I didn't find much related to this error. Is there any message besides the error code? And did you try to move the game to another drive or reinstall it?

    No Mans Sky Gamepass save corrupted, now the game wont save at all

    On the account where the corruption occurred, navigate to C:\Users\NAME\Saved Games\GAME where NAME is your username and
    GAME will be something like No Man's Sky in this case. Rename the No Man's Sky folder to something like No Man's Sky - Bad. Launch the game and see if it acts differently.

    Have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 22H2?

    Also, make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

    Unable to launch No Man's Sky

    Now it says KMODE Exception not handled. I think it is a problem with the app. When I launch them from the windows store they crash as well. All my games load fine besides the ones I download from the Xbox beta app. Any game I download from the Xbox or
    Xbox Game Pass crashes when loading. Any free game I download from the Microsoft Store runs fine.
