Can't launch Minecraft properly v 1.16.200 - no buttons showing for starting the game

Just an update in order to help other players that could experience the same issue...

1) If you start your xbox one, by controller or by the X lighter button, and then you launch Fortnite with the headset unplugged from your controller, then your headset will not works properly.

2) If you start your xbox one only by the X lighter button, then you plug the headset into the controller and then you start your controller with the X button, after starting Fortnite your headset will works properly.

It seems that controller and headset must be started together, after having started your xbox one, but before launching Fortnite.

I have the same problem, launching the game shows a black screen for two seconds and then comes back to desktop with no error messages. I can't launch the game, no matter what I do.

I've tried rebooting, reinstalling, running as admin, new GPU drivers, disabling antivirus/afterburner/gaming apps, nothing changes the behaviour of the game, it just won't launch properly.

Same thing here. Was working fine until the March update. Games show the launch/splash screen, then crash back to home. Can't quit it because it never actually started. The only fix is to hard reset holding down the power button. Very frustrating when
I only have 20 minutes to play, and 5 minutes of that is wasted trying over and over to launch the game and then reboot the console...

Your friend and you need the same version of minecraft, for instance: if you're on 1.16.210 your friend should have that version too if he/she has a 1.16.200 version you can't join, you'll need the same version as him/her as well it's not the internet it's the bug version, try to compare the versions of the game you both own and update accordingly.

When you're done downloading the first part of the game (7.6GB) from the marketplace you then have to download the install packs. You can't actually start Grand Theft Auto V and start playing the game for these to download and install properly. If you do, you
end up going into a install loop.
