Cant launch games after dual booting

    Hi.

Im running windows 11 in 2 partitions, 1 partition for gaming and another partition for doing my coding stuff. Everything is fine if I install a game on my gaming partition and reboot it/shutdown and start it again. The problem comes when I go from my job's partition to the gaming one. The games wont start and instead will open the microsoft store trying to download gaming services which is already installed. Already tried to uninstall/reinstall gaming services via powershell and didnt work, had to reinstall the game, tried to repair game's installation and didnt work. And now the problem is repeating again and im downloading it again.

    This is the scenerario:
start gaming partition - open xbox app - download game and install on d: drive - launch it - shutdown the pc/reboot the partition - open xbox app - launch game (everything works fine)

start work's partition and do stuff - reboot system - start gaming partition - open xbox app - launch game (game wont launch and instead opens the microsoft store as mentioned)

Is there any way to fix this?

    :)

Just in case I'm not being understood. I install my games in d: drive. That drive partition never changes/moves. The problem comes when I dual boot from my other windows installation. The funny thing is that I already replicated this scenario in c: drive and it worked. But as I mentioned I have the game o d:. Got all my games there with other launchers and they work flawlessly. Only the Xbox app ones are failing to launch.

Hope they fix this behavior someday. Its annoying for ppl like me who wants to play a game after working for hours. Now gonna enjoy some games. TY CYA!

Oh, I understand. Thank you for clarification. This means the issue is on the OS files and the next step is to format it. This will make the system good as new however you'll be needing to reinstall all your files.
