Can't Launch [Game Name]

Hello! I have a problem with launching games I have downloading and bought off of the Xbox Live Marketplace! The only types of games on my Xbox 360 are ones that I have purchased and downloaded off of the Xbox Live Marketplace and they work just fine,
but if I am offline or I have no internet connected to my Xbox then I can't play the games and a pop-up says "Can't Play Gears of War 3" and all I can do is click "OK". This happens for every game I attempt to play, but for some arcade games it works but only
runs the trial version. I've tried looking for other posts on this topic but they were old or did not work. And when I try to launch them from the "Recent" section it says "Game not found. Insert the game disc or storage device, then try again." which doesn't
make sense since I bought it off of the marketplace. (And I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum section, this is my third post ever.)

I updated my xbox and now game saves are missing....

I can't even launch games of discs, you are lucky.

For some reason though, my games on demand's game saves are bugged.

I can hardly launch them either, it keeps saying "Can't Launch *name of game*) and when it works it makes me restart like I had just bought the game.

Can't launch game?

I've just recently re-installed Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate. However, whenever I try to launch the game, I keep getting a popup saying "Please make sure your subscription is active". I also receive an error code(0x803f800b). However, I have followed the given
prompt to Manage Subscriptions, and the only thing that is present is my Gold Subscription(valid until December 2017). The error code comes up with nothing on the site. I have tried uninstalling the game, restarting my xbox, trying on another account, etc.

Have you ever switched consoles since you purchased those games? It sounds like a licensing issue. If you've switched consoles since you purchased the games, you would need to perform a license transfer so the console has your game licenses so you can play
offline.

Hi. My name is Mel and I am an independent advisor. The space helmet picture is starfield which launched on 6th September. The yellow car will be one of the forza horizon games or it could be the new forza motorsports game which is due to launch October. The other games unfortunately I can't figure out which ones they are. Hope this helps.

Thankyou for your response. I've tried all of the potential solutions you've suggested above but unfortunately none has worked. I'd like to point out that for most of the games, i can't even install. Error pops up at 0% download progress. The exception to this is minecraft where I can only download from appstore but cannot launch.

Is there any more possible solutions?

I hope you are doing well today. Welcome to the Xbox Community. Thank you for reaching out to Xbox Forums. you mention that you are not able to launch any games on PC Game Pass. I am happy to help and provide some suggestions that can hopefully fix the problem. I researched the error code you provided me 0x80070005, which has to do with Permission issues and being able to access the Game Pass app application. Let me provide some suggestions

Disable your Anti-virus or make sure it is not blocking the application, as i have seen Anti-virus software block the Game Pass app or gaming services. In addition to any third-party anti-virus software. For disabling Windows defender, please do the following

Open Windows Settings
Select Privacy & Security
Select Virus & protection settings
Then click on Manage settings
Turn-off Real-Time protection

Then try to launch a game.

Solution1: Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files. If some Windows functions aren't working or Windows crashes, use the System File Checker to scan Windows and restore your files. Sometimes corrupted files can cause issues.

Solution2: Reset Windows 10 store & Xbox app

1. Open Settings.

2. Go to Apps -> Apps & features.

3. Look for Microsoft Store/Xbox App and click it on the right side.

4. The advanced options link will appear. Click it

5. Next, click on the Reset button to reset Microsoft Store/Xbox App to the default setting.

Solution3: Try reinstalling the Gaming Services package on your Windows 10 device:

Right-click the Start button in the lower-left corner of the main screen, and then select Windows PowerShell (Admin).
In the Administrator: Windows PowerShell screen, type the following command and press Enter:
Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers

Solution4: Play games offline on Windows 10 using Offline mode; this error could also be attributed to issues with the Microsoft store not recognizing your entitlement to the game. Would you please click on this link Play games offline on Windows 10 using Offline mode | Xbox Support. Then scroll down and click on the drop-down arrow and look at the steps for How to enable offline play on your device.

I would also suggest checking your computer's Date & Time settings and Reset the Windows 10 store as well. Make sure your operating system is also up-to-date with updates.
