Can't launch Edge browser on Xbox One. I get an error that says "Check your connection" but...

Hello there, the app may need an update, did you enable your Xbox to automatically update games and apps? This option can be found here:

Settings > System > Updates,
your games will be updated as new versions become available.

Enabling this is the recommended setting, to force the console to look for an update for the app try power cycling your console:

Hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. Does an error message appear when you run the network connection test or the multiplayer connection test? We will provide steps on how to test these connections. Be sure to let us know the results!

How to test the network connection:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Network.
4. Select Network settings. Any known outages will appear in the middle of the screen.
5. On the right side of the Network settings screen, select
   Test network connection.

How to test the multiplayer connection:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Network.
4. Select Network settings. Any known outages will appear in the middle of the screen.

   Test multiplayer connection

You're saying youtube is working perfectly fine on the edge browser through your xbox one? Could you please take and post a pic in your response, as I dont believe you. Maybe you believed we were talking about the new edge browser that was never launched
on the xbox one. I can see why you would be confused.

I also can't believe that Microsoft developers have not included this very basic and important featiure into the Xbox One Edge Browser.

There are so many things that Microsoft does that are HIGHLY questionable, and I can't believe these are mistakes, I think they are on purpose.. and there is an alterior motive that is usually connected to profit over user friendly features.

HEY MICROSOFT, WE CAN'T CUT, COPY and PASTE on the Edge Browser for Xbox One - Do you know how ridiculous that is ! ?

Please VOTE for my suggestion, perhaps if we get enough votes they will include CCP feature !
