Can’t launch Black Ops 4 (Xbox One)

I’ve now finally finished my download of Black Ops 4 after two days of waiting since my internet data and connection are very limited, only to find that the damned game won’t launch. I’ve tried to restart my console several times and even moved the game
to my hard drive, without any success.

Downloading the game once again doesn’t like a good option either since I’m almost out of data for my internet...

What can I do about this?

Hello JesperWallin1, you should try to install the game without updating. And the update will only begin when the installation is complete. The same problem was played by GTA V.

If it does not work, check your badwith connection

Settings> All Settings> Network> Test ...

 

Does this mean I have to re install the game again?

That would be a problem since I only have 30-40 GB data left for this month.

do you get any error codes when trying to launch the game? Also, have you tried cold resetting your xbox by holding down the xbox power up button for 10 seconds until it completely turns off.

 

Nope, no error codes or anything. I only get to the Black Ops 4 logo type and then I get thrown out.

I’ve also tried to cold reset the console several times; but still nothing.

 

I'm having same exact problem. Did a factory reset and have redownloaded the multiple times. The game just will not launch. I have an Xbox one X

 

How do you do that on an X1X?

 

I have the same problem but get an error code of 0x8027025a and a message say that it has taken too long to launch the game. I have gone through all of the online help regarding restarting, powering down for an amount of time and clearing the cache but it
still hasn't worked. We have even returned the disc and got a replacement but still hasn't been resolved.

Apart from trying to re-install the game I cant think of anything else to do. I have tried to log a call with support but they are not closed until 0900 tomorrow.

Any help would be appreciated
