why do we pay money for something that they say "is the best online gaming service" when it dnt work. there is always something wrong with xbox

Can't launch any BioShock: The Collection games

I haven't been able to launch any of the three games. Is really weird, because apparently all of my other games work without any issue.

When I try it, I automatically receive an "Something went wrong" message on the screen. The games don't even start.

Hello ItsPepeTheDoh, I would recommend power cycling your console to see if that fixes this problem. If not, I would reinstall the game to the hard drive and if that doesn't work call 18004myxbox(18004699269) so an official agent can further investigate.

ps Forza 6 aniversary edition is working fine which i gt with the xbox

 

Ive waited this long for Far Cry Primal and your gonna pull this **** after I worked all day and all I wanted to do was devamp and play a game I've been waiting FOREVER to play. Uninstalled it thinking I could just reinstall and play......WRONG

support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status It's kind of hard to understand what you are saying, I apologize for the issues you are having and I am not trying to be rude or disrespectful at all. First thing I would recommend is buying the Xbox Live Gold, you
do get free games every month and decent to good discounts (depending on game) when sales emerge through Microsoft's digital store through the Xbox One. Next would be to completely uninstall Elite Dangerous and other games that may have the issue your experiencing,
then put the console into energy saving mode from "power and startup" section of your console's settings menu (you can access the settings menu by moving the top joystick all the way to the left, if you did it right You should see options like friends, messages,
your profile, well at the bottom of that whole menu thing is the settings menu click on that with your "a" button to enter settings, just search through the settings until you find "power and startup") after successfully putting the Xbox into energy saving
mode hold down the power button into it shuts off completely, after a few seconds to a minute the power brick should turn from white to orange. Now after doing that turn your Xbox One on again by gently tapping the power button, then go ahead, log in to your
profile and restart the download.

Go to top of this page the green banner click on support then choose Xboxone, You will see service alert if its Red click on it you will see what is affected if Green no problems.

 

Garbage console should have just built myself a decent PC for the money I shelled out for an obsolete system. Neverending issues stop updating leave things alone not everyone cares about a new window panel every 6 months. We get used to doing things one
way and we can't refuse an update or we must be hacking the system because if you don't take it you can't play because it's part of our S****Y terms of service agreement. Derp

 

Please correct the services effected. Games are not in normal working condition

 

Mister Maker's post about putting your console to offline mode under the network settings, should work and allow you to launch games (that post should have been your first post, not pages later lol).

If any game requires an online connection to verify something or is online, obviously they are not gonna work while Xbox live is experiencing problems.

Reading some of these posts, it seems like its the end of the world to you people lol

 

It is the release day of farcry primall and it will not activate. I am absolutely disgusted about how poor xbox live has got over the past few weeks.

 

well thanks alot guys but the elite dangerous has finishd downloading completely shud i still delete and reinstall it does it mean i hav to repurchase it
