    Can't launch any apps - 1910.190716-1920


    As of this morning, I am unable to launch any games or apps on my Alpha Ring Xbox. I can't even report a problem because the insider hub also fails to launch. I randomly get either of the two errors below:


    1. Not ready yet [Title] needs to finish installing or show 'Ready to start' before you can launch it. (0x80270300)


    2. I occasionally get an error saying the title took too long to start, but it hasn't appeared recently for me to get the specific error code.

    Anyone seeing similar issues or know of a fix?

    Update: I've done some more troubleshooting and narrowed the issue down to my external hard drive. It is no longer mounted in the Xbox file system. Full restarts have not changed the situation. At this point, I am unsure if the issue is with my hard drive or the Xbox.

    If I plug the hard drive into my pc, it recognizes the disk, but shows the entire volume is unallocated. I have never plugged my Xbox external drive into my pc, so this may or may not be normal. The Xbox does not give any indication that a drive is connected at all.

    I know I will lose all of the contents, but I may try initializing the drive on my pc then reconnect it to my Xbox to see if it gets recognized.

    Hi Yasahlro,

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. We recommend trying a
    soft factory reset    . When doing this make sure you have a stable internet connection. Also, know the credentials to the profiles on the Xbox console, as it will remove them. It will not get rid of save data unless you solely play offline.
