    Can't join Xbox app beta


    Recently, Xbox announced that their Xbox app for PC will be updated for mod support and there won't be any restriction on where games will be installed. These features are available in Xbox app beta so I wanted to update but my Xbox insider app is bugged. It says you still need to join the flight.

    I have joined windows gaming in the preview section but I haven't updated to the beta version of the Xbox app it's still on the normal one. The app says I have joined but at the same time, it says I haven't.

    Ok, so, the app preview mustn't be available for your insider level right now. I advise you to try to report this on the Insiders hub app on your PC to the insiders team. :)

    How to enable mods on the new Xbox app?

    I didn't mean that the one on the Microsoft store was a Child account, but that you could install games for adults if you have an adult account on the Microsoft store app, if you don't see moods option on the Xbox app it's because one of 2 reasons

    1.- Game do not support moods
    2.- Account used in the Xbox app it's a Child account
    Well, then that's a bug with the new beta for the Xbox app, before joining the beta program I could install mods for games on the game page, it's just now that I joined the beta that I can't.

    You can either join the Insider Beta as well and get the 1.13 beta, or you can ask your friends to leave the beta, uninstall Minecraft, and re-install the official 1.11.4 version.

    If you wish to join the Beta, you can open the Windows 10 Store, and search for the Xbox Insider App.

    Install the App, and sign in.

    Under Insider Content you should see the Minecraft Beta. There you are able to join.
