Cant join specific friend's session

I can join matchmaking no problem, I can join sessions with friend B no problem. Friend A and Friend B can join each other's sessions. But Friend A and I cannot join each other's sessions, or any public session that the other person is in. It's almost like
our Xbox's refuse to communicate. Friend B even invited us individually into his private session to get us in the same squad to try a squad session, but it's the same issue where if one of us is in the session, the other can't join. Even though we're now in
the same squad. Friend B has no issue joining either of us separately. Has anyone had this issue?

Problem with friend joining party..

This is on Xbox 360

I can't join a couple of my friend's game sessions or invite them to my session. I also cannot join or invite a specific friend to my party? If anyone knows how to solve this please help me. My NAT is open. My privacy settings are made to allow communication!

When I try to join my friend's game it keeps telling me that I'm unable to join the session. What can I do about this?

I had this with some friends, what you should check is the NAT type and then trying to power cycle the console in order to clean the cache by holding almost 10 seconds the button when you switch off your console.

Give it a try in that way, for us it works!

Thanks for your reply, however this does not appear to be a NAT issue. We both have open NATs and our Xbox’s are in our router’s DMZ. We are able to connect with ANYONE else with no problem, just not each other specifically.

 

Nobody else is having this issue? I’m still not able to join one specific friend but have no problem joining almost anyone else.
