Can't join party with a friend

Hey,

So let me start by saying I am very frustrated. I have been playing COD with a friend for about a week and a half on a brand new xbox one. We have been able to join parties and play together seamlessly - until today. The join party notification pops up,
but when I hold the xbox button nothing happens. The same goes for him when I send him a request. Also, when we create private matches and play against a computer it will not let us talk to eachother. I can receive messages just fine and play other people
in private and public matches, but not with him specifically.

Also, I restored factory settings and repudated everything so I know that's not it

Xbox One Preview Update PARTY ISSUES

Since the preview update has gone into effect I haven't been able to join a party with friends. I can't join a friends room to be able to play a game. If I send a friend an invitation to a party/game they will receive it but can't accept it.

 

Can't connect to parties any more?

A few days ago, I couldn't join one friend's party. All my other friends could connect to my party and I could connect to their's. Literally last night, I was in a party with my friend. Now, I can't join any of my friends' parties. Even the friend
I was in a party with last night. This started when the new Xbox Live update came out. Any way to fix this?

 

Same problem. Also notice that I can't hear some people in game chat (their mics light up, so I know they're talking). Seems to be an issue with people wearing headsets. Kinects still go through lol. Also, my NAT is Open. This is bogus, Xbox.

 

It's the update. It was working fine before it. They need to test the updates before putting them up

 

I see problem now. It's our system updated. Everyone else is on old version until march 11. So they need to update xbox
