    Can’t join my friend on bo3


    I’m trying to play bo3 zombie but I’m unable to join or invite friends I believe it is the mat type but I’m using military WiFi so I am unable to change the nat type. Any way to go around this?

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    We understand you are having issues with joining your friend on bo3 zombies. This issue may be caused by the NAT type of your network, which affects how your Xbox connects to other devices online. Unfortunately, if you are using military WiFi, you may not have the option to change the NAT type settings. However, you can try some of the following steps to see if they help:



    - Restart your Xbox and your router/modem.

    - Check your network settings on your Xbox and make sure they are set to automatic.

    - Clear your Xbox cache by holding the power button for 10 seconds until it shuts down, then unplugging it for 30 seconds.

    - Test your multiplayer connection on your Xbox and see if there are any errors or warnings.

    - Try joining a different game or mode with your friend and see if it works.

    - Mobile hotspot: You can try using a mobile hotspot to connect to the internet. This may help you bypass the NAT restrictions and improve your connection.



    If none of these steps work, you may need to contact your network administrator or provider and ask them if they can adjust the NAT type settings for you. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope you can enjoy bo3 zombies soon.

    my xbox nat is open, black ops 3 nat is moderate help pls

    Its the same with mine moderate in BO3 open on Xbox One but I have no problems joining party's chatting in game joining friends or matchmaking so it's probably just a visual bug.
