Can't join game from other players profile

And if you're friends with the player, some people can block other people from joining them, example s gow 4 where you can set your squad to invite only

If you are not friends with the person you need to be invited.

I also would like to add, some games require you to use their in-game invite system to join a persons game. Rocket League for a example, you used to be able to join a game through a friend profile as you mentioned, but with the recent update you can only
join their game now if you're invited through the in-game invite system.

What game are you trying to play? Some games its easier to use the in game interface. I have had this same problem with BFV before.
