    Can't join friends online Nintendo switch game.


    We are both online the connection works fine, we have played together many times but now when I go to join the game it just sits on a loading screen forever and never joins the game. Anyone know how to solve this we have re downloaded the game, checked connection
    and NAT and still can't join.

    Xbox Live Gold for Fortnite

    But not for Fortnite because my friend has a Nintendo Switch and he doesn't need to pay the online subscription to play Fortnite for free.

    Well according to what I've read on IGN, Nintendo stated that you will NOT need to have a paid subscription to play Free-to-Play games online. Here's a few sources I was reading into earlier.

    Hi HomegrownSilky, thanks for your reply. This is on Nintendo Switch. They were able to play online on other people's, and public, servers in the past, but can't play online at all now. We have a Nintendo online account that still has 7 months left on it, but trying to find friends online is blocked with the above message displayed. Any ideas or suggestions would be very greatly appreciated, many thanks.
