    Can't join friends in an online game!


    Hi all, I am trying to join friends (who I have been able to accept) in an online game. I have 2 boys who want to play an online game with another friend. We are able to create a party and hear each other, but when I try to send invite to the game I have
    created, it sends it to myself. It is as if the accounts are linked together. They have different cards attached to them, different gamertabs, although they are linked to the same address. one is playing on windows 10 and the other on an xbox one. The xbox
    one can join an online game but the windows 10 can't. Any thoughts? have tried going through all the firewall issues and 'open' settings stuff.

    Are the games cross platform titles? Not all games are cross platform Xbox and PC so you wouldn't be able to play online with your boys.

    I know they are working on it but I can't join friends parties. I can see them online but they can't see me. I have checked my settings and everything is as it should be. I can play online games and create a party of my own but can't join friends. Not

    Hi AzKxRider520....yes I have the option to press X and go to an online lobby....but I can't join game of my friends on the Xbox's menu.....(people part, friends, choose a friend and go to "join party or game")....and my friends are in a public session.....

    Friend has an open nat as well, and I've tried wired and wireless. I can still connect to Xbox live and play online I just can't join party or games with a friend
