Can't join friend's games.

I can't join friend's games on the Xbox 360 or the Xbox one. The 360 tells me "Connection to server was lost. Exiting to the main menu." The One says I'm not friends with the host which I am. My NAT is open and so are theirs. I've cleared cache. Both consoles
are wired to internet. Can anyone help me?

Game trials often do not allow you to join/play online. This is probably the issue. If not then you might want to contact xbox live support.

Hello! I can't join my friend's lobby in State if Decay 2, error code 1 008.

My friend bought a subscription for a month, but I'm got free 14-day version Game pass. How can we play in coop?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

I have here steps that we can try, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If that didn't work uninstalling and reinstalling the game will be the next step.

For the last resort, we may need to reset the console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

I'll recommend you refresh the profile by signing out of the console and signing back in.

To sign out;

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

- Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

- Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.

Afterwards turn off the console qnd unplug it from the power source. Wait 2 minutes and plug it back in, then sign back into the console; You can sign in using the prompt or follow these instructions;

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.Select Profile & System > Add or switch > Add new.

- Enter the email address for the Microsoft account that you want to add, and then select Enter.
