Can't join Cub on Xbox app

Hello, I seem to have a problem with the clubs,

on both my phone and my desktop computer I am unable to join any clubs.

on the desktop a message appears that I have to change a setting in the privacy settings, but I have checked multiple times And I can confirm that all settings are on public. I'd really like to be able to make use of these clubs because I paid €100,- for forza
horizon 4, and a lot of content is in these so called clubs

chat/phone teams so they can take a look into the account and its settings with you to make sure everything is set up correctly.
