    Can't join Bedrock Servers or Realm's.


    Hello Microsoft staff, and users! I was banned from XBL for one day from the 30th of May to the 31st of May, and when I was unbanned, I was able to join Multiplayer on Java, but not Bedrock, and I know I am un-banned.

    This is the error. I looked at my Permissions, and it said that "Play games with others in Xbox multiplayer. This does not enable communication." was blocked, I had contacted the person that has parental controls on my account to enable it, but they havent. Is this the issue?

    Let me help you with your concern today. Please note that this is a public forum and I'm merely a user, I apologize for a delay in response.

    Sorry to hear you're having trouble. The permission you are referring is required to play multiplayer games, you will have to make the organizer of your Family group to enable it.

    You mentioned that you can play multiplayer on Java right now, but if your multiplayer permission is blocked then you should not be able to play multiplayer on both Java and Bedrock. And the error you are getting on Bedrock is not really pointing out your multiplayer settings so the issue could be something else.

    But you should still have your organizer enable the setting because it is required, if the same error will persist after enabling the multiplayer setting you can follow the steps below to see if they will help:

    1. On your Minecraft Launcher, please try to remove your Microsoft account then sign back in.

    2. Make sure that your Bedrock Edition is on the latest update, the latest version is 1.21.82.

    3. You can try to run the Gaming Services Repair Tool. Go to Xbox app > Click your profile > Support > Gaming Services Repair Tool > Run. After you complete this, please restart your PC then check if you still cannot join Realms and servers on Bedrock.

    I believe you're looking to find the server list.

    Click on PLAY then use the right bumper and go to SERVERS and you will see a list of FEATURED SERVERS.

    If you know a IP to a bedrock server then click ADD SERVER and type in the IP.

    If you're trying to join a realm you will need a invite code.

    you would need to either join realms OR

    go to mojang and download the server software for free and create your own hosting server, its easy to do and works for bedrock edition. as long as you have a pc running with the server running on it then world will always be available, OR

    you could join a site that hosts a server for you at a low cost each month.
