Can't Join a Party

Ugh! There's still a bug that keeps me from joining partys'. I tried joining my friends party but it kept on saying can't connect to xbox live party, same for my friends, they can't join my party's unless they reset their (turn off/turn back on) xbox.

I have been having this problem and I have already tried to join the party but I can't join it so I can't do the thing where I join the party then sign out

Have you OPEN NAT? Are you using UPnP or you have manually opened the ports for Xbox Live Service on you router?

Remember that UPnP don't open ALL ports, is better to manually configure it, take a look at this link for a complete list: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/networking/network-ports-used-xbox-live

As additional information, an ethernet connection is better than wireless.

In order for us to help you you will need to provide us with some information about your network:

What Country do you live in?

What make and model modem do you have?

What make and model router do you have?

Wired or Wireless connection to the console?

If wireless, are you using any encryption? If yes, what type?

Do you have one or more of these enabled? uPnP/DMZ/Port Forward?

What is your NAT type?

Any Error Codes you encounter?

What type of internet do you have? Cable/DSL/T1/3G?

Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)?

Do you have the most current version of router firmware? You can check the manufacturer website for this information and compare it to your router information.

Go to speedtest.net and run three tests; one close to you, one far from you and one in between. Then post your results here, including the ping.

The more questions you can answer the better we can try to help you find a solution.

I would also take a look in your Settings to make sure nothing was accidentally changed there to not allow communication through party chat, or that notifications for parties were turned off etc.
