Can’t join 1 series X friend

After we have tried it on all games it is only a select few. It was working before but this problem has never happened before. We only get a error screen from the game saying we can not join each other on certain games

Sorry for the delayed response but it is just happening on games like the Hunter call of the wild and it just kicks the person that is trying to join and for Gta is pops up with player no longer in session or session timed out

You mentioned that both of your NAT types are open, with this there may be other factors that are causing the issue.

To better understand you issue, I will ask few questions:

1. When you try to join each other, did you receive an error message that caused you guys not to be able to succeed? If yes, can you provide it to us via screenshot?
   
2. Is this issue happening to all of your games or to only particular game?
   
3. Was this working before?
   

After you provide us this information, you may go ahead and try to perform the steps below:

• Check your Xbox Live connection: Make sure that your Xbox Live connection is stable and that you are signed in to your account. You can check your connection status by going to Settings > Network > Network settings.
  
• Restart your Xbox: Try restarting your Xbox console and your friend's console to see if that resolves the issue.
