Can't invite people and invites to me aren't popping up

I'm on PC and I'm trying to play wreckfest with my friends (have to use cloud gaming since it's not cross platform) but I can't invite them and their invites don't show up, whenever I play other games on cloud the notification pops up but I can't join because it says I need to select an app to open this ms-xbl-multiplayer link but that's another thing entirely. My main problem right now is the fact that invites are not popping up on wreckfest while using cloud gaming. When I'm not on cloud gaming the invites work fine so I don't really know what to do.

Based on your description, it seems to be that you are unable to invite people and not receiving invites from your Wreckfest game. I can't imagine the inconvenience you're experiencing right now. Let's work together to find the best solution to this problem.

When did the problem started?
Was this working before?
May I know if the people who invites you and you invited are also using the cloud gaming?
What device platform you are using? Are you using a phone or a PC?

Those above questions would help us provide the necessary information. Once we collect all the information, we will formulate the feasible resolution to help you with your case.

I haven't had notifications for people coming online for months. Achievments and invites pop up but just not people :/

You aren't playing on Xbox Live servers but the publisher/developers servers in a lot of cases, so they have their own settings because the game is multiplatform.

Can't speak for Diablo 3 but the Division has options for Open, Friends Only (the default), and Invite only. Set it to Invite Only and people wont be able to join your game unless you invite them.

It's doing the same to me right now, can't message, party invite freezes my xbox and takes several moments to go through then i can't invite people, not getting notifications of people getting online, it's just a complete mess, it's almost like they are
too busy working on this Beta and it's messing up the XBL in the process.
