    Cant install Xbox app game pass games on secondary SSD drive.


    Cant install Xbox app game pass games on a secondary SSD drive. Every time I try to download a game on my laptop, even selecting the proper drive the game tries downloading on the primary drive and if the game is too big it just marks it as an error. Windows
    automatically made 2 folders on me secondary drive when I tried downloading a game from the Xbox app for the first time, (I canceled the install) I deleted one folder to which I can't remember the name of the folder, there is still 1 folder left named Program
    Files, I can't delete that one because it says I do not have the permissions for it. One more folder is created every time I try to download a game called WUDownloadCache, there is no info on this folder. This folder is deletable but every time I try to download
    a game it recreates (Games are not downloading on the second drive).

    Basically, even though it was not smart to delete the folder and that might be the cause for all this, I would very much like to fix this problem.

    Having the same issue!

    Would love to play this game, but my system drive is a small M2 SSD without enough room for the install. Need to be able to install to secondary drive. This is the only game that doesn't allow installing to a separate drive.

    Yes but cant install xbox series x games, they have to be installed on the ssd. All others games will and can run off of external drive

    I uninstalled some games from my Xbox game pass (PC) using the uninstall option in the Xbox app (on PC).

    But the storage space in my SSD did not return to what it used to be, before the game was installed.

    We're talking about upwards of 10Gb. It can't be other files because the drive was solely for games.

    Anyone can help?

    Uninstalled game and it did not free up space.

    Unfortunately the Windows Game Pass app hides where it installs the games since you don't technically own them and they want to stop people from pirating.

    Are you installing to C or a secondary drive?
