Can't install updates. Error code: 0x87e0000f

It has been a week trying to install the new updates for halo MCC but I keep getting this installation error. I can't remove update either.

it's not a connection problem, so don't ask.

Connection: 105mbps, Connection type: LAN

I've reset many times, did the disc trick to make it re-establish a download, and nothing works.

I even deleted the game and redownloaded (3 hrs wasted), still didn't work.

Any advice!?

Destiny Update Installation Problem

Can't install game error code 0x87e0000f

for the past few days I've been trying to install overwatch but it keeps popping up with the error code 0x87e0000f and I have searched it up and tried restarting the Xbox and router and hard reset the Xbox as well but none of it seems to help fix the problem.
The most it has gotten was 20% done before it stopped installing

Apologies for the delay in getting to you here.

This error usually occurs when the server is too busy to handle your download.

As it has been a couple days since, can you try updating again and let me know how you get on?

I'm having issues installing Halo MCC and Forza Motorsport 6 both digital. I can download any DLC but the main game always comes up with an error. I've recently rolled back my dashboard update to get out of the preview dashboard. Please help

Hey there AshleyBazSivorn. You'll want to create a new post with as many details about your issue and troubleshooting you've tried as possible. Since this thread is a few months old, you will get more help creating your own post.

If you haven't already, I would try a full reboot by going into Settings, Power, Turn Xbox off and then unplugging the power cord from the console for 5 minutes.

Thanks for coming to the forums. We recommend to first try the troubleshooting given for the error code specifically

0x87e0000f. If this doesn't work, you could try and install the game offline. This will install just the game without the update. Once it is installed then go back online and get the update.
Before going offline uninstall the game completely then power cycle the console once back on then set go offline.
To do this, go to settings>general>network settings>go offline.

If you encounter Xbox One error code 0x87e0000f when trying to download an Xbox One game or app, it may be caused by an outdated console.

Go to Settings, and then select All Settings.
Go to System.
Select Console info & updates.
Select Update console.

Yeah i bought the game yesterday and i get stuck at 97.3% and it keeps saying installation stopped. Sometimes i do get the error code 0x87e0000f. However tried ALL of the troubleshooting for installation stopped stuff and for this error code to no avail.
i can install any other game, just having this problem with The Division 2.
