Can't install Spotify because of "Installation Stopped" error

Hi,

I just want to point out that when I try to install Spotify, it keeps having an "Installation Stopped" error when it's almost done from downloading. When the "Installation Stopped" error happens, Spotify keeps trying to redownload again by itself but the
same error happens as soon as the app is about to finish downloading.

Error code that was given was 0x80070005. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

EDIT: This is the same issue I had for Fallout Shelter back when the app came out in February, so it might be an error on the operating system's side?

when trying to install is an error "Installation should be stopped because the required package is not installed zune" error code 0x80070005 .... Windows XP (SP3)

 

I cant install some games

Im trying to download some games but the installation stops at 0 and appears "installation stopped". I tried to install another game and it installed.

I followed the installation error steps from Microsoft and it doesn't work

I can't install:

-rainbow six

-paladins

-fortnite

Is there any chance you're in the Insider Program (formerly: Preview Program) for console updates?

In any case, the first step to try is a power cycle. It may sound simple enough, but it has the tendency to stop weird errors like this one from happening.

To do a full power cycle, do the following:

• First, cancel the Spotify app download if it still ongoing;
• Now, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until you hear a beep;
• Once the console is powered off, unplug it from mains power;
• Leave it for 2-5 minutes;
• Reconnect the cables and power it back up.

Now try downloading and installing the Spotify app again. Let us know how you get on.
