Can't install Sea of Thieves from Xbox app

Hi everyone,

I have recently installed the Xbox app to use Xbox Game Pass and have downloaded some games with no problems. However, when I attempted to install Sea of Thieves onto my computer, it would not download. I received no error codes or messages, but my download
just says 0 B of 49 GB, and the download speed is also zero. I have already deleted the app and reinstalled it and checked for Windows updates to no prevail (and yes my internet works on this computer as I am using it now). Any suggestions on how to fix this?

If you ever have issues again installing you can re start it next to where you click install it has 3 dots click that and you can restart the download again. Glad you fixed it.

I found the solution right after I posted this. I closed all apps and did a hard reset to my computer and that fixed it. Hope this helps anyone with a similar problem to me.

It'll actually just show up in your downloads under the Sea of Thieves game. No codes. Got to My Games and Apps, then Sea of Thieves, hit manage game and it should be ready to install.

Sea of thieves decided to uninstall itself for some reason over night, making it so that I cant play Sea of Thieves today due to the long download time.

If I buy Sea of Thieves on Steam, can I play with the same account as on the xbox app version? That way I wont need to deal with the Xbox app or its version of Sea of Thieves.

Same problem here, can't install or update the game. It just happens on Sea of Thieves.
