Can't install Sea of Thieves. 0x80073cf0

I too have this same issue.

It seems to only be affecting Sea Of Thieves no matter what disk volume I try to install it on.

Clearing the Xbox App cache doesn't do anything, same with resetting the Xbox app through settings.

It always stops installing around 4.2 MBs and when pressing "resume all" it installs another 4.2 MBs and stops.

I'm running on Windows 11 latest update (as of 6/28)

PC Specs-

- MSI X570 Gaming Edge

- Nvidia RTX 3070 Gigabyte Aorus Master

- 48 GB DDR4 RAM

- 1 TB SSD

- 3 TB HDD

Hello, I have the same issue, it doesn`t happen with other GamePass games, only with Sea of Thieves update, tried reinstalling, and the issue is still here.

The error occurs when trying to update/download the game. 0x80073cf0

Running Windows 11, the game was working perfectly fine prior to the update of 06/23/2022, once the update dropped, the game just gives the error instead of updating.

Again the error only occurs with Sea of Thieves, no other GamePass games is being affected as far as I know.

Same problem here, can't install or update the game. It just happens on Sea of Thieves.

I have the same issue, i had an update notification so i tried to click on the update button, then the error appeared, so i followed the official guidelines ... uninstalled then tried to reinstall and the error is here, cannot install my preferred game anymore, can u please fix this ?

Same here. Same error code. How is this possible? We have been playing this game for months and suddenly it won’t update…
