Can't install or play any gamepass (PC) games anymore

This started happening after a windows update only a few days ago, as I had just installed another game. Now I can't install anything (Button replaced with a sad face) , and launching games gives me a : (0x80004005) error.

I've done the following:

Tried installing from the MS store, just gives an error after download starts

The Regedit Trick after deleting every registry associated with gaming services

Both Powershell install/uninstall tricks

Manually resetting both the MS Store and the Xbox App

Logging out and logging in about a hundred times

Repairing system errors (SFC /Scannow etc)

Gamepass just doesn't let me download anything and now playing games just doesn't work either.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble installing or playing Gamepass games on your PC. It sounds like you've already tried a number of troubleshooting steps, but I have a few more suggestions that you can try:

Reset the Microsoft Store cache: Open the Command Prompt as an administrator and type in "wsreset.exe" (without quotes) and hit Enter. This will reset the Microsoft Store cache and may help resolve the issue.

Check for Windows Updates: Ensure that you have the latest updates for Windows installed. You can do this by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates.

Uninstall and reinstall the Xbox app: Open the Start menu, right-click on the Xbox app, and select "Uninstall". Once it's uninstalled, go to the Microsoft Store and reinstall the Xbox app.

Check your anti-virus software: Some anti-virus software can interfere with the installation of Gamepass games. Try disabling your anti-virus software temporarily to see if it resolves the issue.

Reset the cache, not working, 0x87E00196 now when I try to install games. Which is linked to the gaming services application, which I've installed and reinstalled about a dozen times now.

Already uninstalled and reinstalled the Xbox app

Windows is completely up to date.

The Anti-Virus is Windows defender and it didn't work once I disabled it.

Unfortunately none of these worked.

you need gamepass pc then, so you can't,
