Can't install ODST

Recently, I reinstalled The Master Chief Collection, but due to issues with my internet at the time, I had to uninstall and
reinstalled it again, however ODST did not install, and when I go to Games and Apps to install it, it does not appear at all, meaning I cannot install it. I got it for free with a promo code so I can't go to the Xbox Store to download it so I'm simply
out of luck.

Is there any way to fix this?

Can't install odst

I got my odst code a while ago, and redeemed it, but the install failed. after countless tries, I uninstalled to try again from scratch, but now I can't find it anywhere and I can't try to reinstall. It does not show up in the ready to install section and
from the odst section in MCC it only takes me to a part of the store where odst does not appear.

How can I reinstall?

Halo 3: ODST to release 29/05/2015

Wonder if it's something to do with the preview program.I had an update earlier & now can't install MCC from disc or download ODST.

Other games install ok.

Sorry to hear it. As ODST was considered an add on for the game it may be listed in the add on section. Please try highlighting The Master Chief Collection then press the Start button and choose Manage Game. Check the Ready to Install list there to see
if ODST is listed.

That is the problem, ODST is not in the ready to install section, in fact, none of the add-ons for the game are there, I have no idea why.

Its a shame you can't install the 2nd disc of ODST and launch this GoD to use the map packs.

Halo 3 ODST is an add-on for the MCC so it needs the MCC installed as well. Have just checked the Store and ODST can't be bought separately so it must be the MCC add-on:

Not me, don't have enough space on my harddrive to fit any games on it. Also Bungie said it hinders the performance of the game. Can't remember if it is better to install the Halo 3 multiplayer disk though. I know Halo 3: ODST it is better to install
on harddrive.

for anyone that has got the installation stopped problem you have to update the main game(2.4GB) once that has completed it should allow you to complete the ODST installation, also in game you find ODST's campaign inside the halo 3 tab.
