Can't install Minecraft Bedrock for Windows 10

hi,

i've been struggling with this for days now and have tried it feels like every fix under the sun with no luck. i "upgraded" to windows 10 so that i could play minecraft with gamepass for win10, and ever since my computer has been essentially a garbage fire, but at least i was able to play. now i can't even do that.

the issue: i wanted to update minecraft to the newest patch, but it wasn't auto-updating and the microsoft store absolutely refused to load any updates for anything - i hit the "get updates" button in the downloads tab, and it just spins forever, never loading. after a while of trying to fix that and failing (restarting computer, resetting microsoft store, clearing store cache, temp disabling bitdefender, and lots of other troubleshooting steps) i gave up and decided to uninstall and reinstall the minecraft launcher and the game itself so it could be installed with the latest version. now i have managed to reinstall the launcher, but i can't get either the microsoft store or the launcher to install the game. if i hit the "install" button in either program, nothing happens at all. the button just greys out and then no install occurs, no prompt to approve the install, nothing. if i restart my computer after hitting the button, sometimes it will indicate that the install has started, but it stalls out at the very beginning and does nothing no matter how long i wait. as i understand it i can't install/play minecraft on pc without using the launcher now, or even if i could i assume i'd have to go through the microsoft store, which isn't responsive; it still won't load any updates or install the game.

i'm at my wit's end and have no idea where to go from here. i might just have to give up and be left with an essentially bricked computer and no actual reason to have made the "upgrade" to the new OS version. if anyone has any suggestions at all, i am desperate - please help

If you have Minecraft Bedrock Edition for Xbox One, then you would be able to use that to install Minecraft from the Windows 10 store and play yes. Is that what you're asking for? Should be able to get it from the Windows 10 store and searching for Minecraft.

As per your description, you just recently upgraded to Windows 10 to play Minecraft. Due to issues you encountered you perform troubleshooting related to the issue however, it did not resolve the concern. To further assist you with this, we might need to perform basic troubleshooting and upgrade/update your PC and especially we need to see if we meet the system requirements to play Minecraft.

Recommended requirements - though you already meet the requirements:

OS: Windows 10 version 17134.0 or higher

Architecture: x64

Microsoft account signed into the Microsoft Store should be the same account for the PC log in.

Please make sure your PC's storage is enough.

To begin, please check the suggested troubleshooting below:

Keep your PC and Xbox apps up-to-date. Please check this guide - How to get software and driver updates for Windows devices.

If you know your account's password. Sign out your account on Microsoft Store and Xbox apps.

Restart device or clean boot - How to perform a clean boot in Windows.

Turn off or disable any antivirus, antimalware, VPN, firewall and PC Optimizer.

Relaunch Microsoft Store and sign into your account.

Try to download or update any apps found in Microsoft Store.

If same issue persist, try Create new local user - Create a local user or administrator account in Windows (microsoft.com)

Test if same issue happens.

Yes I bought minecraft bedrock for windows 10 version, and I can't redeem the same game directly from the original minecraft site, they ask me to buy the game again. I can only get it through the microsoft store, but there I'm having problems installing.
