    Cant install manditory update for Flight sim


    Hi All Cant install manditory update for Flight sim. Uninstalled, cleared out packages. This is the sixth time ive tried to re-install. Running Windows 10 Pro. Plenty of free space.

    Leave the update run and it just stops on Microsoft-asobo-vfx-Staticmesh saying "Decompressing". But been like this for two days. Uninstalled the game. Cleared out the community folder and packages. But still the same

    If series s/x for flight SIM 2020 yes

    .if for Xbox one then only works with xbox one games not cloud like flight sim

    You can install flight sim on xbox series consoles

    Latest mandatory update for flight simulator 2020 not showing up or downloading in microsoft store.

    I found a solution for mandatory updates not installing, and I would like to share it with all of you.

    - I observed that the mandatory updates that would not get installed were related to Xbox.

    - So, I installed the Xbox app from the Store.

    - I opened Store and Updated ( a flight Sim update was downloaded and installed)…

    - I started Flight Sim. An UPDT of 2.67GB needed to be installed

    After that the issue was resolved. I do hope that helps, and I thank every one of you giving your ideas.
