Can't install JRE.

    Can't install JRE.


    As the title says, I cannot install JRE on my PC at all. I need it to play Minecraft. I tried contacting Minecraft Support, but they said to reach out here. Whenever I open Java installer (jre-8u441-windows-x64), nothing happens. And when I try to launch Minecraft from the official launcher, it gives me two errors: "Could not find java.dll" and "Could not find Java SRE Runtime Environment".

    I am ready to give any information necessary - I just don't want to format my PC.

    The DLL file you downloaded and pasted on the JRE folder was the opengl32.dll?

    you can go to the azul website and download zulu from there , just put it in the jre folder in your minecraft directory

    My Minecraft Java doesnt respond

    And for more info, the Java version i previously had was called jre-8au341-windows-x64 on my files and it didnt do anything

    and the one i downloaded just now is called jdk-18.0,2.1-windows-x64, and that didnt do anyhting either

    Have you tried clearing your cache by holding down the power button on your console for 10 seconds?
