Can’t install games from the Microsoft store on Xbox One S

So I want to install games like Elden Ring and PayDay 2, and since I’m game sharing with a friend I have access to those games. But when I go to download them, nothing happens, I’ve tried restarting the console, clearing local save data, doing some research online, but nothing works. Do I just have an old Xbox and need to upgrade or is this fixable?

Update: I just spam clicked install all and now Elden Ring is installing, anyone know why this happened? All I did was add it to my home, clicked it, it gave me the prompt to install all, I thought nothing happened and now it’s installing in my queue.

For cases like this, a simple powercycle will fix the issue as it needs to be refreshed. Here you go:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

like for some reason, I can’t play Xbox one game discs cuss they won’t install. I can only install and play Xbox 360 game discs and games that have been installed from the store.

I'm afraid the answer is simple, you can Not install a disc based game on a Xbox One S Digital, the Xbox One S Digital only supports games downloaded from the Xbox Store online, this means that you can only install digitally purchased games and apps on the
Xbox One S Digital

Go to Microsoft Store, either via the Console or a PC and select manage or install. You should see that there and if not, let us know. The game needs to be updated and to do that you need to force a reinstall.

Did you find a solution to this , I’m installing MW3 on a Xbox one s by disc it installs all packets but won’t update and I can’t open the game until it updates everytime it starts it says installation stopped
