Can't install games from EA Pass using Game Pass on PC (Windows 11)

I got it working - I changed my EA Account Email Address to same Email Address that my Xbox (PC) account is linked to - it works now.

I did mention this to EA but they didn't take note or didn't acknowledge this.

Unfortunately Microsoft cannot assist with linking/unlinking accounts as it is done solely on the EA website and by the EA team. They are better suited to assist you with this sadly.

I can confirm that I have already tried those steps, but each time I click on the Xbox icon, I am prompted to "Create a new EA Account"




I spoken with EA Support around the same time as posting this issue, and they are saying the same thing as you, then I tell them that I get the above message, then they say that this issue is strange and are now advising me to create a new EA Account which is not acceptable as I already have game progress and want to keep everything contain under one account.

Clearly that Xbox linking functionality is not working - and I cannot play any of the EA Play games via Game Pass because of this, which is the main reason why I opted to get Game Pass in the first place (to try it out, as well as the games on the Xbox Store + EA Play).

Well I've noticed in the EA Desktop app I now have "EA Play" obviously due to the linking of the accounts, so I'll just stick with using the EA App for now for their games, and use the Xbox App for everything else.
