cant install game

Below are some suggestions from the Flight Sim Support team. I will provide all the links, and you can try the many suggestions they recommend for issues with installing the game. Please follow the suggestions in the order in which I posted them.

Solution 1: All versions - Can I choose or change the installation path? (Install on the D: drive instead of the C: drive, for instance)

didn't work with antivirus turned off. windows 10 21H1

Tried, but didn't work...

By the way, i tried the following:

• download exiting game (not game pass) from windows store, able to start the download
  
• download game from Steam , able to start the download
  
• download game from Epic, able to start the download
  
• download game from Origin, able to start the download
  
• download game from battle.net, able to start the download
  

so to me it seems that only the xbox app is causing issues, is there a way to use the game pass without the xbox app? is there a way to download directly from the Windows store?

Game pass games are always downloaded from the Microsoft store, the Xbox app only manage the games, that's why I'm sure the issue it's on the PC settings, not the Xbox app in self

Open Start, type: powershell

Right click PowerShell

Click Run as administrator

At the command prompt, type the following then hit Enter:

Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Exit Powershell then restart.

After that do this

Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.

In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.

Restart your device and try to install the game again.

update: i tried to install some other games, one failed and one (rise of nations) got installed.

So it seems only specific games are problematic

Any idea?
