Can’t install game. Version 0.0.0.0 installation stopped

Call of duty morderme warfare 2 update won’t install now it stated version 0.0.0.0. If I uninstall and reinstall it still won’t work. I even went and purchased the vault version thinking the file won’t be corrupted

Im having this same issue with fortnite. Ive uninstalled the game when i go to reinstall it it shows 0% download then i get a message that it needs an update. But it wont do either.

Hi there I've been trying all of these options for call of duty mw2 and I keep getting the file is corrupted message, what other steps can I take to work around this?

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:

Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console

1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Try setting up manual DNS settings and see if that lets you update the game.

1. Please go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > DNS settings >> manual

2. Primary DNS: 208.67.222.222

3. Secondary DNS: 208.67.220.220

Solution 3: Please try setting up a mobile hotspot connection using your phone, then connect the console to the hotspot connection. Try updating the game again and see if it works.

Hi, I have had the same issue with the game since season 1 of MW2 and now MW3 is out it still isn’t working, did you ever find a solution?
