cant install game or transfer them

Hi sorry for my bad english

on Xbox One

My problem start 6 months ago...Each time i tried to install a fresh game or even transfer game from my internal to my external HDD , the installation stopped

Each time its the same error code: 0x80070017

First time i called to Microsoft, they told me to do a full reset of my xbox, which help.....for 1 month

I called again today, now they told me to do a soft reset(only paramaters)

but once again.....cant download games or even transfer on my external

My internet speed is not the problem....30/30 here and i have about 700go free on my HDD

Yes you can transfer most things over a USB flash drive.

The only thing that do not get transfer over with a USB flash drive or a Transfer cable, is any installed games. You will have to delete them and manually install them again.

 

Xbox won't recognize installed games

It's a DRM(Digital Rights Management) issue.

When you install games or buy stuff on the marketplace they are licensed for the console used to download/install them.

For downloads you should run the license transfer tool to transfer the licenses to your new console.

For installed games you should delete the installed files from your hard drive and reinstall them

Thanks for posting. When you mentioned you tried a full reset, did you Factory Restore your Xbox One console? Do you have any disc based games that experience similar installing issues?

I recommend starting out with these following steps:

• Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console until it fully powers down.
  
• Unplug the power cable from the back of your Xbox One and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  
• After the 5 minutes are up, plug everything back in and power back on.

If the issue persists, let's follow up with a
Factory Restore on your Xbox One and selecting 'Reset and keep my games & apps'.
