Can't Install Game Off of Disk (Disk is Clean)

I can't install Red Dead Redemption 2 on my Xbox One S. The disk doesn't have a single scratch on it (in fact I even had it professionally rebuffed and cleaned yesterday in case that would help but it didn't help). When I put the disk in it recognizes that it is Red Dead Redemption II and says "Installation Started" but about ten seconds later it says "Installation Stopped". It stays at 0% the entire time. I tried installing another game that I had on disk and it worked fine, I have no idea why this is happening. When I start the installation it says that it needs to update, if that helps. I have tried choosing to update after the game installs but the same result happened. If anyone knows how I can fix this/why this is happening please let me know.

I’m sorry I don’t have any advice for your problem, but you should never resurface a Blu-ray disc. The hard coat on the bottom is extremely thin and you’ll take it right off and the data Layer is directly under it.

You can try downloading the game from Live. With the disc in the console search for the game in the Xbox store, it will show the price but don't worry about that.

On the second screen where you would normally pay, it should show 'Install' if it doesn't say 'install' try a different version of the game.

This didn't work, I had the disc in but it did not show an "install" option in the screen where you would normally pay.

When a game is installed, the disk is still required. Installs are supposed to "lessen" the disk activity, but the disks will still be accessed, like checking that the disk is matching the installation data (DRM checks).

Unreadable errors relate to the disk or disk drive I would assume. You've already tried some things, check and make sure the disk is clean and open the drive tray up and make sure that is clean as well.
