Can't install fallout new vegas on XB1 even though I have it on the 360

    Can't install fallout new vegas on XB1 even though I have it on the 360


    I have this game on my 360 installed on hard drive from disc and still own the disc. My XB1 will not let me download it without using the disc. This has not been an issue with any of the other backwards compatible games until now. Yes I can still play it
    using the disc but I want it on the hard drive without needing the disc to play.

    What is the problem?

    X1 reading all disc games except brand new 360, Fallout new vegas ult ed. or fallout 3 goty on disc

    my system reads all my games and dvds but when i go to install Fallout 3 goty or new vegas it'll read stop read then not show up on the home, or ready to install but will load fine with my xb1 games

    What games do you play on a Daily basis?

    Fallout New Vegas. I'm enjoying it much more than Fallout 3 for some reason, even though it's basically the same.

    Same exact thing happening to me. I can't even play fallout new vegas because it is apparently an "online game".

    Why does it need internet to install?

    Fallout New Vegas is less than 6gb... and it installs just fine from disc on 360. but xbox one has to use from internet to install. makes no sense.

    Agreed! I think the reason I liked New Vegas more is because Fallout 3 was kind of.. depressing? Fallout 3 New Vegas was more cheery and modernized. At least that's what I thought.
