cant install EA play PC games

so im getting a problem and i cant find a solution with EA support, they are saying its a Microsoft issue causing it.

I have the xbox ultimate pass and when I try to connect the ea app I get an error 'something went wrong to continue linking your ea account head back and start over'

I can log into the ea app fine if I don't use the link on the box app but I cant link my 2 accounts

so here is where it gets complicated. According to EA my account linked to another account, my xbox display name.

i can install apps through the pass on my xbox but not on my PC because of this

is there something on this end that will allow me to install EA Pass games on my desktop?

The account linking process is entirely external and EA's responsibility. And if they are saying that your account is linked to another account, they have to help you unlink and link the accounts.

Yeaaaaaa. well guess I'm never going to be able to play then, they told me they can't u link my Microsoft account and to ask you if its possible on your side

There is a disconnect between ea and yourself it seems.

And they are unwilling/ unable to remove the linked account I could see on the ea forums I'm not the only one with this problem too so I just don't no what to do

Hello, I have been looking for a way to play my ea play games included with my game pass ultimate, my windows cant update, and i dont want to hear about how to update it. just tell me if theres any way to play the ea play game without xbox app. i have origin installed. im on pc by the way

Have you linked your account to EA and downloaded the EA play client?

PC games from EA and Ubisoft require you have their clients installed and linked

Do you have the EA Play app installed on your PC, and the extension turned on, in the Xbox app settings? Make sure you have these, otherwise, you won't be able to download and install the games from EA Play. Same also applies for Ubisoft games too. You need the Ubisoft Connect app installed to install any Ubisoft game from the Xbox app.
