Cant install appx files

If you install the game from the Microsoft Store without extracting it, you generally shouldn't encounter this issue. So, I'm curious why you chose to install it that way.

I'm trying to download an appx file, but I just used a Windows batch file for optimization and it seems to have deleted the app installer. I re-downloaded them from the Microsoft Store and extracted the appx files, but it still doesn't work. Please help me

Okay, it was worth a try to see if the closest official functionality was suitable. Unfortunately, unofficial methods are not appropriate for discussion in an official area, so instead, here are some names and factual information to get you started on your
journey:

• The Microsoft Store app was formerly named the Windows Store.
• Many games in the Store are built on the Universal Windows Platform (UWP).
• Downloads from the Store typically take the form of a package with the following file extensions: .appx, .eappx, .appxbundle, .eappxbundle, .msix, .emsix, .msixbundle, .emsixbundle (with encrypted editions starting with an E)
• Files for
  Windows apps are stored in the WindowsApps folder in Program Files.
• MakeAppx.exe and
  
  MSIX Packaging Tool can create packages for Windows apps.
• The PowerShell cmdlet
  Get-AppxPackage can list installed apps and games,
  Add-AppxPackage can install them, and
  Remove-AppxPackage can uninstall them.
• App Installer can be used to install packages through a user interface instead of through PowerShell.
  

I finally managed to fix it

By downloading the runtime and installing it manually

Go to, its a website to get the direct download of Microsoft Store downloads: https://store.rg-adguard.net/

Enter this link, the link for the runtime taken from Store: https://www.microsoft.com/store/productid/9NBLGGH4RV3K?ocid=pdpshare

And download the x64 file: Microsoft.VCLibs.140.00.UWPDesktop_14.0.32530.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe.appx

After the download, rename the file "1.appx"

In PowerShell, use the command: Add-AppxPackage -Path "ENTER FULL FILE PATH HERE"

Make sure to type out the full path to file that just downloaded i.e. "R:\1.appx"

After the command has finished, go back to the Xbox app

And then your download/update should work

It says the VCLibs.140.... files arent in your Downloads folder.

Please check if your files are correctly named with correct file endings .appx in your Downloads folder.
