    Can't Install App on Windows 10 (version 19041.572)


    So I've been trying to install the new beta app for about 2 weeks now. I've tried everything I have come across. From resetting the store to making sure Windows is fully updated.

    It won't let me install through the store for some reason so I tried installing directly from the EXE and I just keep getting the 0x803FB103 error of "Looks like something went wrong, we can't install the app".

    Are there any other possible solutions on why I might not be able to install this app?

    Can you advise us what Windows 10 version you have installed please?

    Windows Store should be installed by default on Windows 10. It will be missing if

    1. It's removed via Powershell

    2. You have a version of Windows 10 lower than Windows 10 Home.

    Lower versions of Windows 10 lack the store and other store based apps, and therefore the Xbox App is not compatible with these OS versions.

    Sounds like it was a code for the Windows 10 version. You can't play the pc version on your console but you can play the console version on your pc by streaming it to the pc. if it is the console version usually it would be in the my games and apps tab under
    ready to install. scroll to it and select it in order for it to install. Hope this helps.

    No, I mean I want to install the older version of Xbox game bar, which is for Windows 10 1709, on my Windows 10 1909.
    You can't install and use the older version, is not compatible and available anymore.

    I used the version that was on the computer after the Nov update of Windows 10. I checked for additional updates but none were found. I then removed the Xbox One app and downloaded and installed the beta app. It had the same problem, so I uninstalled it
    and reinstalled the original app. I can't tell you the version because I can't get that far into the app to check.

    I will reinstall the beta version and report the problem there.
