Can't install any games

So I just got Game pass Ultimate and after trying for almost 24 hrs now I'm still having issues. It started with the Xbox App either taking many attempts for it to launch or it would launch and then just freeze everytime I clicked on anything. After trying some of the steps I listed below I was finally able to get it up and running but no games would install. I now think it's the Gaming Services but I just don't know how to fix it. As stated I have tried multiple things.... some suggested on here as well as over the net but I have had no luck. Things I have tried:

1. Repair and reset Windows Store (too many times to count)

2. Uninstall and reinstall Windows Store (too many times to count)

3. Repair and reset Xbox App (many many times)

4. Uninstall and reinstall Xbox App (many times)

5. Uninstall and Reinstall Game Services (countless times)

6. Disable and even uninstalled Avast Antivirus

7. Tried the suggestions here to no avail (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...-10-pc/e95a5537-ac40-4d5a-8128-d782ed260abd). It was suggested to delete two folders in the WindowsApp folder but I couldn't, even if I took permission of them. I even restarted in Safe mode hoping I'd be able to but it didn't work. I've removed Windows Store, Xbox App and Gaming Services again and this is how the WindowsApp folder looks now. I don't know if that helps.

8. I've checked my Event Viewer and these are the errors I've found:

- The Gaming Services service terminated with the following error: The system cannot find the path specified.

- The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

{37399C92-DC3F-4B55-AE5B-811EE82398AD} and APPID {37399C92-DC3F-4B55-AE5B-811EE82398AD} to the user MYPC\Myusername SID (S-1-5-21-3730238577-4128015313-1395787450-1001) from address LocalHost

(Using LRPC) running in the application container Microsoft.GamingApp_2112.1001.9.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe

SID (S-1-15-2-1723189366-2159580849-2248400763-1481059666-1951766778-2756563051-3565589001).

This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

- The gameflt service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the path specified.

- The server {4E3252D1-8C69-4595-B1B8-B20B48DD1812} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

At this point I'm extremely frustrated and can't understand why I'm having these issues as everything was working fine a few days ago. Any help will be appreciated

Hey there NoctumRocks,

Sorry to see the issues with downloading and installing games. Have you tried to use a wired connection instead of wireless to see if it helps out?

First, welcome to the Xbox community. I'm sorry you're having this problem.

I ask that before anything else make sure your windows is fully updated, the latest version is 21H1, to check this follow the instructions below: Go to settings>system>about. If your system is not up to date, use windows update to download the latest version.

*If your computer is already fully updated, please try the recommendations below.

Solution 1:

To resolve error code 10005, try clearing the EA APP application cache, there are two ways to do this, the instructions you check in the link below.

Solution 2:

Try using the Ea Play recovery application which can be found inside the original 'EA APP' application folder

*Usually the 0xa3ea00ca error happens because you are trying to install the game through the Xbox app and not the EA APP.
